Where can you exchange coins for bills in Japan? : japan I've counted about 15,000 yen in 5 yen coins and 10 yen coins (I am NOT even going to start counting those blasted 1 yen coins) and I'm wondering where I can exchange them for bills. I've heard rumors you can exchange them in the post office but I'd like to be sure before I go anywhere with this stack. Well, lesson well learned.
